"Contentsquare has reached a point where we’ve built up power through our product, people, partner network, resources and sheer scale. And — as you’ve heard — with power comes responsibility.
Our growth must have meaning. We can’t become one of the greatest software companies in the world if our company isn’t good for the world.”

What it means to be a purpose-driven company
Introduced in 2019 by the PACTE law in France, the mission-driven status underscores a company's dedication to serving the broader public interest, going beyond the traditional business objectives of growth and profits.
To obtain mission-driven status, a company must:
- Define a clear purpose, as well as social and environmental objectives, and integrate these into the company’s bylaws;
- Form a dedicated governance structure (Mission Committee) responsible for monitoring progress made towards achieving the set social and environmental objectives;
- Appoint an independent third party to verify that the mission is carried out.
Mission committee
Our Mission Committee plays a crucial role in steering the company towards fulfilling its dual commitment to both profitability and positive societal and environmental impacts. Made up of five experts from diverse fields, the role of the committee is to monitor and advise on our progress in meeting the social and environmental objectives set out in our bylaws.
Their expertise spans across environmental sustainability, green IT, digital accessibility, social innovation, data ethics, and inclusive technology.
